Aurilio Gives Kats Win in OT

SANBORN, N.Y. - Oct 11 - Freshman Chris Aurilio (Williamsville, N.Y./Williamsville South) scored 141 seconds into overtime to lift the Erie Community College men's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Niagara County CC Thursday afternoon.
The goal was the third of the season for Aurilio as ECC improved to 8-5 overall. After NCCC took a 1-0 lead, the Kats got on the scoreboard when Phil Karlstrom (Silver Creek, N.Y./Silver Creek) converted a penalty kick with 14 minutes remaining in regulation.
Aurilio scored after a scramble in front of the NCCC net. ECC's Rich Bund (Silver Creek, N.Y./Silver Creek) made nine saves for the win.
The Kats will play Jamestown CC at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jim Ball Stadium.
