Bobcats and Urbana Tie again
Urbana, Ohio -- Men’s Soccer tied their fourth game of the season against Urbana Blue Knights Saturday afternoon.
The Bobcat’s were held to a 0-0 draw despite being the better team for extended periods of the game.
Wesleyan ended the game with a total of 27 shots with 12 on target. Jordan Halpern and Matthew Brown led the Bobcat’s with 7 shots each with Halpern having 4 on goal to Brown’s 3.
Urbana finished up with 14 shots with only 5 on target. However, the Blue Knights did register 7 corner kicks to Wesleyan’s 4.
This match-up has proven to be a stalemate as when these teams met earlier this year it also resulted in a tie.
Men’s Soccer turbulent season has them in 5th place in the Conference with a 3-3-3 record. Overall the Bobcat’s are 5-5-4 and are back in action Wednesday October 23 when they travel to Shepherd for a 3:00pm kick-off.
