Buccaneers Washed Out At UNA

FLORENCE, Ala.—The Barry Buccaneers got rained out playing the North Alabama Lions on Sunday, but not before jumping out to a 2-0 lead after 19 minutes.
The Bucs (0-1-0) got two goals from Lauren Manna with assists Lavinia Nkomo to shock the Lions (1-0-0), who came into the game as the favorites in the Gulf South Conference. The Bucs beat the Lions to the ball on a consistent basis and held the majority of the possession.
With the Bucs up 2-0 and 25:55 left in the first half, lightning caused a delay and torrential rains in the area washed out the rest of the game. It will not be re-scheduled.
