DAYTON SCORES IN 89TH MINUTE TO DOWN SJU 1-0

DAYTON, Ohio - Freshman Kesley Smigel scored the only goal of the match to give the University of Dayton a 1-0 win over Saint Joseph's in Atlantic 10 play this Friday at Baujan Field.
Smigel scored in the 89th minute in the box on a breakaway pass from senior Josie Grant.
The Flyers improve to 13-3-0 overall and 4-2-0 in the A-10. The Hawks drop to 6-6-4, 1-3-2 A-10. Dayton outshot SJU 20-9. Sophomore Jordin Melchert had three saves in goal to get the shutout for the Flyers.
Dayton hosts Temple this Sunday, Oct. 23 at Baujan Field at 1 p.m. ET.
