G-MAC champs kick off season at home
CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Defending Great Midwest Athletic Conference champion Cedarville takes to the pitch in 2014 with 18 matches on the docket.
The Yellow Jackets, who were 13-3-4 last fall under first-year Head Coach Brett Faro, will play half of their contests at home. Eight conference games are scheduled.
CU begins the campaign at home on Sept. 4 against Saint Joseph's (Ind.). That date is followed by road trips to Saginaw Valley State and Malone.
A four-match homestand opens on Sept. 13 vs. Lock Haven (Pa.). Other non-conference foes coming to town are Gannon (Pa.) on Sept. 23, Shawnee State for the annual Homecoming game on Oct. 4, and Slippery Rock (Pa.) on Oct. 11.
Trevecca (Sept. 18) and Kentucky Wesleyan (Sept. 20) visit to begin the G-MAC slate. Other home league matches come up against Ohio Valley (Oct. 2) and Salem International (Oct. 20).
The Jackets visit Davis & Elkins, Alderson Broaddus, Trevecca, and Kentucky Wesleyan in G-MAC action. Other non-conference road matches include Mercyhurst (Pa.), Charleston (W.Va.), and Ohio Dominican
