FROSTBURG, Md.—Buffalo State (1-0-1) traded chances with Grove City (0-0-1), but neither team could break through as the contest ended in a 0-0 draw to conclude the Frostburg State Classic.
Freshman Michael Moraitis (Plainview/Schreiber) made two saves for the shutout in his first collegiate start for the Bengals.
Grove City held a 14-11 edge in shots, with both teams attempting a pair of shots each in the overtime periods. Grove City also had a 12-3 edge in corner kicks, but Buffalo State's defense was equal to the task.
Buffalo State will compete in the Fredonia Classic next weekend, meeting Houghton in the opener on Friday at 3 p.m.
