Kats Suffer Overtime Loss to Finger Lakes CC

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - Overtime was not nice to the Erie Community College men's soccer team for the second-straight game. After the Kats tied Monday's Region III contest in the 86th minute, Finger Lakes Community College recorded the game-winning goal six minutes into overtime as the Lakers downed the Kats 2-1 at the ECC South Campus.
Sophomore forward Pablo Ordonez (Cheektowaga, N.Y./Cheektowaga) scored his ninth goal of the season with four minutes remaining in regulation on a free kick. Ordonez's nine goals tie him for second in the NJCAA Division III ranks.
ECC, now 2-5, will play at 4 p.m. Thursday at Niagara County Community College in Sanborn.
