Lady Jacket itinerary set for 2014
CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jacket soccer team plans to continue the momentum it built during last year's record-setting season against this fall's 17-match slate.
Cedarville, 15-7 in 2013, set a school record for the most victories in a single season. This year, the schedule features nine home matches and eight on the road. A total of 10 assignments are within the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
The Jackets make the short trip to Urbana for the season opener on Sept. 4. They travel to Mountain East Champion West Virginia Wesleyan on Sept. 6.
A five-match homestand begins with three straight members of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference. The home opener on Sept. 10 is against Ohio Dominican followed by Tiffin (Sept. 13) and Ashland (Sept. 16).
CU gets the G-MAC schedule underway vs. Trevecca on Sept. 18 followed by Kentucky Wesleyan on Sept. 20.
Other opponents coming to town are Ohio Valley (Oct. 2), Campbellsville (Oct. 4; Homecoming), Salem International (Oct. 15), and Ursuline (Oct. 18).
