Lambinus announces incoming class of 2022
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh head women's soccer coach Eric Lambinus announced the Mountain Hawks' incoming class of 2022 on Friday, a class of eight student-athletes from five different states around the country. The class will look to help fill in the gaps left by a strong graduating senior class.
A number of key seniors are graduating, including first team All-Patriot League honorees Alyssa Riporti and Adrian Vitello, but the Mountain Hawks return plenty of talent as well, including All-League honorees Maggie Wadsworth and Sam Miller, along with leading returning scorer Annika Jansa. Lehigh's top six scorers all return in 2018 along with Miller in goal, who owns a 0.61 goals against average and 0.872 save percentage through her first two seasons.
"We are really excited to welcome the eight new student-athletes who make up our Class of 2022 to the LUWS family," said Lambinus. "Our coaching staff has spent considerable time identifying these exemplary student-athletes and believe they will fit perfectly into our program culture. We are pleased that they ultimately chose to become a Mountain Hawk and look forward to helping each one develop into the students, soccer players and people we know they can become."

While she has played primarily as a defensive midfielder in her club and high school career, we think she has the potential to be a great box-to-box midfielder in our program. Shannon is one of the hardest working players we have recruited to Lehigh and that will help her compete right away."
