Lehigh heads to Navy Wednesday night
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's soccer team will look to prolong its five-game unbeaten streak when the Mountain Hawks travel to Annapolis, Md. on Wednesday to take on Navy. Wednesday's matchup will be the first of four Patriot League road games this season. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. from the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility. The Mountain Hawks are coming off a scoreless draw with Colgate on Saturday to move their overall record to 4-2-3 on the year and 0-0-2 in league play. Lehigh and Colgate were even with 12 shots apiece. After the Raiders held a 7-2 shots edge in the first half, the Mountain Hawks responded by holding an 8-2 advantage in the second.
Senior Ani Nahapetian tallied three saves in goal to pick up her 10th career shutout. Lehigh had several chance to take the lead late in regulation, along with some opportunities in overtime. Included was a goal waved off due to offsides. The final chance came late in the second overtime period when a shot from sophomore Alyssa Riporti off a corner kick sailed high.

Nahapetian was recognized with the league's Goalkeeper of the Week award on Monday while sophomore Adrian Vitello was named Defensive Player of the Week. Nahapetian has now won two Goalie of the Week honors this season and four in her career.
Navy enters Wednesday's match with a mark of 6-4-2 after a 2-2 draw with Loyola on Saturday. The Mids also had a 2-2 draw at archrival Army West Point on Sept. 18. As a team, Navy leads the Patriot League in goal per game (2.50), ahead of the Mountain Hawks in second (2.33). The Mids' prolific offense is powered by sophomore Claire MacAdam.
