Men’s Soccer Advances to 7th in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA DII National Poll, 1st in South Central Region
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.: Ranger men's soccer has moved up in the national polls from 19th last week to the seven-spot this week, while leading the South Central Region with a 4-0-1 overall record and a 2-0 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference record.
The Rangers shutout Metro at their own pitch 4-0, while allowing only one shot on goal within the 90:00 minute match. Regis then faced CSU-Pueblo at home, outscoring them 4-1.
The Rangers currently total 19 goals and 49 points on the season. The defensive staff has a 0.57 goals against average on the season as they have only allowed three goals in 38 total shots.
The Rangers will travel to Pueblo, Colo. on Tuesday, September 18th at 7:00 PM to take on CSU-Pueblo yet again. Regis will then return home on Friday, September 21stto play UC-Colo. Springs at 2:00 PM.
