The player of the week comes from Stonehill, as Colin Milliken delivered two clutch performances to assure the Skyhawks won both games.

The senior attacker scored one and assisted another in the 3-2 defeat of Fairfield, marking the team’s first win of the season. He would one-up that effort with another assist and a late game-winner to pace the team to a 2-1 victory over Iona.

Men’s Team of the Week: September 2-8

GK: Nigel Van Haveren, Florida International - Van Haveren put on an outstanding performance with nine saves in a clean sheet draw away at No. 14 Georgetown.

D: Carter Cormier, Western Michigan - The physically imposing sophomore center-back was on fire this week as he played 87 minutes in a 1-0 defeat of Northwestern, then added two assists in a 5-1 victory over Air Force.

D: Jack Goodrich, Le Moyne - The redshirt senior was magnificent as Le Moyne pulled off the 1-0 upset of No. 21 Syracuse thanks to his penalty kick, he would then convert another in a 2-2 draw with Delaware.

D: Filip Arras, CSU Bakersfield - Arras flipped the game on its head with his three assists as a substitute, pacing a 3-2 comeback upset of No. 19 Portland.

M: Noah Glorioso, Wisconsin - Clutch in both games of the week, Glorioso assisted an 86th-minute game-winner versus Marquette, then scored a 79th-minute winner against No. 16 Kentucky.

M: Julien Le Bourdoulous, UMKC(m) - A creative force on the week, the French midfielder assisted three as an in-form Kangaroo offense scored nine in victories over Missouri State and Northern Illinois.

M: Colin Milliken, Stonehill - The senior attacker was heroic, with two goals and two assists in victories over Fairfield and Iona.

M: Daniel D'Ippolito, Fordham - Unstoppable against Santa Clara, the Rams midfielder notched a hat trick in the 4-0 victory.

F: Luke Hille, North Carolina - The transfer forward showed his worth with a double in a 6-0 defeat of East Tennessee State, then the opener in the 2-2 draw with St. John’s.

F: Trenton Blake, Dartmouth - Blake scored one and assisted two to lead Dartmouth to a 4-1 victory past Fairleigh Dickinson before scoring another in a 2-2 draw with St. Mary’s (CA).

F: Ivan Morcillo, Sacred Heart - The Spanish freshman was on fire with three goals and an assist in defeats of Army and Lehigh.
