Midseason Top 100 rankings update
When it comes to the men's Division I season in 2018, no player has had the same impact as Andre Shinyashiki.
The Montverde Academy product is the new No. 1 player in the Midseason Top 100 update, released this week as fall finally arrives on the East Coast.
In 13 games, Shinyashiki has put up absurd numbers, scoring 21 of Denver(m)'s 28 goals this season, leading the Pioneers to a 10-1-2 record ahead of Tuesday's clash against Maryland.
Even with his performances this season, Shinyashiki faces plenty of competition. Indiana(m) left back Andrew Gutman is right up there with Shinyashiki, as his contributions on both sides of the ball can't be quantified in the same way. VCU(m) midfielder Siad Haji crept up to the No. 3 spot, followed by forwards Santiago Patino (Florida International) and Benji Michel (Portland).
