More college games cancelled, postponed
The Syracuse-Navy men's soccer match scheduled for this Friday is canceled, the programs announced on Wednesday. The Orange confirmed that one player in the program tested positive for COVID-19, and contact tracing protocals left the ACC side unable to field a competitive squad. All other members of the team have tested negative.
Syracuse is now scheduled to begin its ACC season on October 3 against Pitt. Navy will play a Friday night exhibition against Virginia.
Additionally, the Kansas State match against TCU, originally scheduled for Friday, September 25, has been moved to October 25. The game was originally canceled on Monday, although a positive COVID-19 test wasn't cited as the reason.
