FREDONIA, NY—Buffalo State (1-2-1) fell behind after early miscues and continued to search for its offense as it fell 3-0 to Mt. St. Mary (3-1) today at the Clarion Inn Classic in Fredonia.
Mt. St. Mary scored a pair of goals in the opening 5:23 of the game, and then added an insurance marker in the 69th minute.
Buffalo State produced chances, but once again could not break through. The Bengals hed a 17-10 advantage in shots and had a 6-4 edge in corner kicks. Freshman Michael Moraitis (Plainview/Schrieber) had four saves in goal in the loss.
Buffalo State will open its home schedule on Wednesday when it hosts Roberts Wesleyan at 4 p.m.
