KANSAS CITY, MO— NJIT men's soccer climbed six spots to fourth in the latest United Soccer Coaches Southeast Region poll released Tuesday.

NJIT, standing at 3-0-1, jumped up six spots, which saw a substantial shift from the rankings a week earlier.

Having been ranked 10^th in the Southeast Region debut poll, NJIT went 2-0-1 last week, with a 1-0 shutout victory at Navy, recorded a 2-2 draw against then-ranked No. 4 Florida International and picked up the Highlanders third win of the season with a 2-0 road win at Florida Atlantic.

NJIT will return back to action on Wednesday at 6pm when the Highlanders visit LIU Brooklyn.  The Blackbirds (0-2-1) are coming off a 1-1 double overtime draw against Appalachian State, who ranked ninth in the latest Southeast Region poll.
