BATAVIA, N.Y. - Oct. 23 - Genesee CC won its 15th-straight contest, recording a 1-0 win over the Erie Community College men's soccer Tuesday night in the Region III quarterfinals. The Cougars, the nation's second-ranked team in the Oct. 17 poll, scored four minutes into the second half.

 

ECC sophomore goalkeeper Rich Bund (Silver Creek, N.Y./Silver Creek) made nine saves. Bund entered the contest leading the NJCAA Division III in saves.

 

The Kats finish the season 11-6.
