Pro Prospects in the Women’s DI Quarters
The women’s Division I quarterfinals takes place this weekend, as the College Cup field will officially be set.
Many of the older players still in the field dream of extending their playing careers beyond these final weeks; whether competing for an NWSL side and joining the league via the draft, or looking to go abroad and find a new experience.
With many top teams in the quarterfinals – each match features the No. 1 seed and either a No. 2 or 3 tournament seed – there are plenty of chances for player looking to make an impression. Making it tricky is that some seniors have one more season of eligibility left, due to the extra year granted by the NCAA.
Still, there are plenty of players to know. Here’s a look at eight pro prospects, one from each quarterfinal team.
