Regis WSOC Places 2 on Daktronics Hon. Ment.
Davis and Cahill Named to Daktronics All-America Honorable Mention Team
KANSAS CITY, Kan.: Regis University women's soccer placed two on the Daktronics All-America Honorable Mention after their performances after 2012.
The Rangers placed six to All-RMAC Teams while head coach JB Belzer was named RMAC Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season. Regis also made it to the NCAA Tournament for the fifth consecutive season.
Regis finished with a RMAC regular season championship under their belt after going 13-6-2 overall and 10-2-2 in the RMAC conference.
Davis netted nine goals while assisting on seven others for 25 points on the season. The midfielder scored three game-winning goals and maintained a .415 shot on goal percentage after putting 27 of her 65 shots on goal. A native of Golden, Colo., Davis finished her career at Regis with an All-RMAC First Team selection as well as being named to the All-Tournament team and Daktronics All-Region First Team.
Cahill has been named RMACs Defender of the Year for two consecutive seasons. In 2012, the defender from Boise, Idaho started in all 21 matches for the Rangers, helping them to a 1.80 goals against average. She was also an All-RMAC First Team selection as well as being named to the RMAC All-Tournament Team and Daktronics All-Region First Team.
