Richmond names Nash first assistant coach

Women’s Soccer head coach Peter Albright announced the promotion of Peter Nash to first assistant coach to the Spider staff.
“I am really excited to have Peter join our staff on a full time basis,” said Albright. “His knowledge, experience and passion for teaching the game make him a great fit for our program. We are very fortunate to have him. I expect to see a team performance dividend immediately.”
Nash served as a second assistant for Richmond for the past two years, joining the Spider staff in the fall of 2010.
Nash serves as the goalkeeper trainer for both the men’s and women’s soccer teams at Richmond.
Prior to Richmond, Nash served as the boys’ and girls’ soccer coach at Peoria Notre Dame from 1997-2010. Nash amassed a record of 347-52-16 while there. Nash was named the Illinois NSCAA Coach of the Year in 2004.
Nash serves as a Richmond Strikers Staff Coach and has his USSF Coaching License.
Nash, a Peoria native, resides in Richmond.
