Royds Named Goalkeeper of the Week
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Following her second shutout of the young season, Lehigh women's soccer senior goalkeeper Miranda Royds was named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week, as announced on Tuesday. Royds made four saves in a scoreless draw at Bucknell Sunday, improving her season goals against average to 0.31 and save percentage to 91.7.
The Goalkeeper of the Week award marks Royds' fourth of her career. She made two saves through regulation, then two in overtime as the Mountain Hawks' record went to 1-1-1, 1-0-1 in the South division.
The Mountain Hawks will return home on Saturday when they host Loyola at 5 p.m. on ESPN+.
