Saints Bounce Back at Manhattan
Siena Men’s Soccer bounced back with a 1-0 road win over Manhattan. Conor McGlynn scored the sole goal of the match.
The Saints are now 19-5-5 against the Jaspers and have won the past three matches. Even though Siena got their advantage in corners 4-2 in the first half, the Jaspers outshot the Saints 7-6 before the 45th minute.
Siena came out after halftime again leading 4-2 in corners, but this time they took control and outshot Manhattan 10-4.
In the 88th minute Conor McGlynn scored the only goal of the match to give the Saints the 1-0 win. Cameron Allen on the left wing passed it to J.C. Obregon in the middle who dished it out to McGlynn who put it on frame from the top right of the box.
This is McGlynn’s first collegiate goal for the Saints. He now has eight points on the season.
Aleksa Radosavljevic recorded four saves in the win. This is his second shutout of the season.
The Saints return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 26 as they host Canisius. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
