#Seawolves beat New Hampshire 1-0
Stony Brook, N.Y. - Sophomore Favio Sbarra (Caracas, Venezuela) scored an 85th minute goal to give the #Seawolves a conference opening 1-0 victory over New Hampshire on a wet and soggy Sunday afternoon at LaValle Stadium.
Anatol Reaction
"I'm very pleased with the result to open conference," said Anatol. "The guys stuck to the plan and in the second half we felt like a goal was coming. Favio scored a good goal to get us the result so I am pleased."
Goal Recap
Sbarra broke the scoreless draw late when he headed home a cross from redshirt freshman Fernando Wadskier (Caracas, Venezuela). Freshman Danny Espinoza (East Meadow, N.Y.) started the play by chasing down a loose ball to maintain possession and feed Wadskier.

- Moments later, Wadskier headed a cross from Giordano but it was saved by the goalkeeper.
- Giordano fed Wadskier with another great pass ensuing the Seawolves goal but his breakaway attempt was stopped.

- Stony Brook responded from the slow first half to outshoot the Wildcats 7-5 in the second stanza.
- Wadskier led Stony Brook with three shots and two shots on goal.
