Sentz Boots Kats to 2OT Win

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - Sept. 14 - Taylor Sentz (Hamburg, N.Y./Frontier) scored at the 106th minute to give the Erie Community College men's soccer team a 3-2 win over Medaille JV in double overtime Friday afternoon at Jim Ball Stadium.
The Kats, now 3-3 this season, rallied to force overtime behind two goals from freshman Mark Tellgren (Springville, N.Y./Springville). Tellgren's first goal came with 13:53 remaining with the assist going to Sentz. Tellgren then scored on a header from Matt Jones (Eden, N.Y./Eden) with 11:46 left.
Sophomore goalkeeper Rich Bund (Silver Creek, N.Y./Silver Creek) made 12 saves, including one on a penalty kick with 5:16 remaining in overtime.
ECC will play Finger Lakes CC at 5 p.m. Monday in Canandaigua.
