Siena Announces Staff Additions
LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Women’s Soccer Head Coach Steve Karbowski has announced a pair of staff additions. Thomas Nocito and Todd Bradshaw have joined the Saints as assistant coaches.
“As we begin the 2017 season, I am looking forward to working with two new additions to our coaching staff, Thomas Nocito and Todd Bradshaw,” said Karbowski. “Tom brings a great insight and passion for the game. His ability to analyze and evaluate, and his detailed approach will be a welcome addition. Todd will focus on training the goalkeepers and brings a variety of experience. He provides an excitement and enthusiasm to the position to go along with his knowledge of the game. Along with returning Coach Church, I am fortunate to have Tom and Todd joining our program to provide a great atmosphere and strong leadership for the team.”
A native of nearby Burnt Hills, New York, Nocito matriculates to Siena after spending last season as the boys’ soccer junior varsity head coach at South Colonie High School. He has also spent the past four years coaching camps locally at Afrim’s Sports.
Nocito previously served as South Colonie’s varsity assistant, and has been active coaching in his hometown with the Burnt Hills United and Burnt Hills Recreational Soccer programs. A 2016 graduate of SUNY Cortland with his B.S. in Education, Nocito starred for two years for the Red Dragons. He led the SUNYAC with seven assists his senior season to help propel SUNY Cortland to the Sweet 16 of the Division III NCAA Tournament.
Bradshaw has also been active coaching youth soccer locally. He currently serves as the head coach of both the Clifton Park U18A Boys and U16A Girls Soccer Club squads. He previously coached Clifton Park Soccer Club’s U14B Girls and U16A, U14B, and U12B Boys teams.
A native of nearby Clifton Park, New York, Bradshaw also served as his alma mater Shenendehowa High School’s Goalkeepers Coach for both the boys and girls squads the previous three seasons. He has also spent the past four years as the Clifton Park Soccer Club’s Goalkeeper Director and Coach.
Nocito and Bradshaw join a Siena Women’s Soccer program which returns nine starters, 90% of its scoring, and entire goalkeeping corps from last year’s squad which posted a 9-7-3 overall record and finished second in the MAAC with a 7-3 league mark.
