Caleb Smith played DI soccer at SMU from 2015-2018. He will be writing about his rookie season in the USL Championship with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds throughout the 2019 campaign.

The buzzer sounded as a rush of ecstasy ran through my body. I dropped to my knees, thanking God for a victory. I hugged the nearest person to me, embracing them like it was the last time i’d ever see them. Water and Gatorade squirted in the air as the celebration cheers began.
