Stony Brook adds four to freshman class
Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook men's soccer head coach Ryan Anatol has announced the addition of four freshmen to his recruiting class of 2013. All four will report along with the rest of the Seawolves next Tuesday as the team opens preseason training.
"We are very pleased with the addition of these student-athletes to our recruiting class and program," Anatol said. "We expect them all to add to the competition we have within our team and continue to raise the bar for this program."
The four join 12 other newcomers that were previously announced on July 17. They will combine with 11 returning letterwinners to make up the 2013 Seawolves squad that will look to improve upon last season's 11-6-1 record that led to the program's best-ever NCAA RPI of 55. Stony Brook will kick off the 2013 season at home against Sacred Heart on Friday, Aug. 30 at LaValle Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
