Stony Brook blanks Lehigh, 3-0
Bethlehem, Pa. - The Stony Brook men's soccer team enjoyed a strong 3-0 victory over Lehigh after goals by sophomores Martin Giordano (Weston, Fla.) and Alejandro Fritz (Budapest, Hungary) and junior Keith McKenna (Great River, N.Y.), Tuesday night at Ulrich Sports Complex.
The match was the final regular season non-conference match for the #Seawolves, who improved to 6-7-1 on the year. Lehigh falls to 2-10-1.

"Tonight was a good performance for us. We're happy with the result, we're happy to score three goals and we're happy to get a shutout. A lot of guys contributed, so it was an all-around good performance."
Goal Recaps
- In the eighth minute, McKenna got the ball at the top of the box as Giordano ran in behind the Lehigh centerbacks. McKenna then slipped the ball through the defenders to Giordano, who easily slipped the ball into the upper right corner of the net.
- In the 56th minute, Giordano was playing the ball out wide and sent it into the box as McKenna raced in and one-timed the ball into the upper right corner of the net.
- In the 70th minute, Fritz had a free kick at the top of the box, and he bent the ball around the defensive wall into the net for the goal.

- Giordano and McKenna each finished with three points on the night.
- Giordano has recorded a point in each of the last four matches. He now has a team-high six assists, which also is in the top 10 in Stony Brook single-season history, and a team-high 10 points.
- Both of Giordano's goals this year have been game-winners.

- Senior Carlos Villa (Caracas, Venezuela) made a career-high nine saves on his way to his third clean sheet of the year.
