STOWE JOINS SOCCER MONARCH STAFF
NORFOLK, VA—Old Dominion University head men’s soccer coach Alan Dawson announced today that former All-Conference Goalkeeper Sean Stowe will join the staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the upcoming 2014 season.
" I'm excited to begin working with the team and the coaches,” said Stowe. “ODU soccer has been a huge part of my life for the past five years, and I was honored when the coaching staff asked me to join them. I hope to help continue the great winning tradition we have here at ODU and contribute as much as I can to the program. “
Stowe earned second team All-Conference USA honors last season and was selected the league’s Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 1 and Oct. 22. He had a career high seven saves against Tulsa, Florida International and New Mexico along with six saves against Maryland, South Carolina and Charlotte.
The native of Midlothian, VA. has a USSF “E” License and NSCAA level 2 Goalkeeping License.
