Denver rises to No. 1 for the first time in program history owing to an undefeated start despite playing five nationally ranked opponents away from home. West Virginia slides out of the top spot but remains in the top 5, while Penn rises to third.
The updated rankings also feature six newcomers as Seton Hall, Maryland, Creighton, College of Charleston, Michigan, and Dayton have earned their position among the elite.
