TDS Men’s Top 25: Setting the Standard
There are eight teams left in the running for the NCAA Division I Championship. Of those eight, there are five ACC programs in the hunt. The ACC was the favorite across the board in most Third Round games over the weekend. Virginia Tech pulled off one of the few upsets from this stage of the competition. The Hokies defeated the Hoosiers 2-1 in overtime on Sunday. Virginia Tech checks in at No. 8 this week in the TDS Men's Division I Top 25.
Wake Forest remains in the top spot in the TDS Top 25. The Demon Deacons defeated SIUE 2-1 in the Third Round. Wake Forest faces conference foe Virginia Tech in the next round with a spot at College Cup on the line.
Stanford remains in the second spot after defeating Virginia in the Third Round. The Cardinal is the lone representative from the Pac-12 left in the NCAA Tournament. The Cardinal takes on No. 6 Louisville in the next round.
Denver keeps hold off the third spot in the TDS Men’s Division I ranking. The Pioneers defeated Washington 2-1 in the Third Round of the NCAA Tournament. Denver is 20-0-3 on the season, but heads to South Carolina for a meeting in the Elite Eight with No. 5 Clemson.
