TDS Women's Division I Top 25: Sept. 13
Florida State maintained the No. 1 program in this week's TDS Division I Women's Top 25 after another round of action.
Conference play is nearly here in both the ACC and Big Ten, which is sure to shape proceedings as October draws near.
The Seminoles carry a perfect 7-0 ranking, identical to No. 2 North Carolina's record as non-conference games come to a close. FSU beat FGCU and won against ranked foes Auburn to extend the perfect start to the season. The Tar Heels dominated Florida by a 7-0 score, and led 1-0 on Sunday versus UCF, before weather forced the game to be canceled.
UCLA moved up to the No. 3 team, while Duke and TCU each round out the top five. One of the big winners last week was Penn State, which now sits at No. 6 after wins against Virginia and NC State in Charlottesville.
