TDS Women's Team of the Week: Oct. 4
Just when it looked like Colorado’s season was set to veer completely off course, a freshman star has helped right the ship in Pac-12 play.
Previous Teams of the Week: Aug. 23 | Aug. 30 | Sept. 6 | Sept. 13 | Sept. 20 | Sept. 27
Freshman Taylor Kornieck has been a key catalyst in the team’s current nine-game winning streak, scoring seven goals during that stretch, including five game winners.
The previous two came in the last two games during last week's road trip to Arizona, as the Buffalos snuck past both Arizona and Arizona State with 1-0 wins. In each victory, Kornieck scored the game-winning goal from a free kick, earning herself the latest TopDrawerSoccer.com Player of the Week.
