Top 100 players in women’s college soccer
After collecting the honor of TopDrawerSoccer.com Player of the Year, Morgan Brian also stands at No. 1 in the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Top 100 women’s college soccer players for the 2013 season.
Brian took the top spot following a brilliant junior campaign that led the Cavaliers to the College Cup. Trailing Brian is fellow U.S. Women’s National Team regulars Crystal Dunn (North Carolina) and Julie Johnston (Santa Clara) who both enjoyed successful collegiate seasons this fall.
Center backs Abby Dahlkemper (UCLA(w)) and Kassey Kallman (Florida State) round out the top five. Dahlkemper’s teammate Sarah Killion also cracked the top ten at No. 7. The two Bruins also made the first team of the TDS Best XI for the season. Check out the full list of Best XIs for the season here.
Of course, there were a number of talented players that just missed out on a spot in the three teams of the season including Cal Poly star striker Elise Krieghoff, who checks in at No. 43 in the TDS National Top 100.
