#UDWSOC FLIES PAST RICE, 5-2
DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's soccer team (1-5-0) exploded for five goals in its first win of the season, a 5-2 victory over Rice (4-2-0), Friday night at Baujan Field. Junior Meghan Blankand sophomore Sidney LeRoy each scored two goals and seniorAshley Campbell also notched a goal for UD.
STATS OF THE MATCH
• The Flyers took a 3-0 lead in the 22nd minute and Campbell scored in the 33rd minute to push UD's lead to 4-1.
• Dayton scored more goals in this match (5) than its other five matches combined (3).
• Wright State had 23 substitutions in the match, with 20 different players seeing action.
• Flyer freshman goalkeeper Kaelyn Johns had five saves in goal.

• Dayton hosts No. 6 Texas A&M Sunday, Sept. 13 at 1 p.m. at Baujan Field. It is also alumnae weekend. Dayton autograph posters, featuring the freshmen, are free to the first 200 fans.
