This weekend features the start of the Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.
This year’s tournament has been expanded to 24 teams, and will be hosted by Colombia starting on August 31.
Like most tournaments, there are several players based in the United States (whether for club or college) who are set to compete for other countries. Given the age group, the bulk of the players summoned hail from college soccer in the United States.
A total of 11 countries, not including the USA, will feature players from schools or clubs around the country. Check them out below.
