Westside Soccer
Buffalo State's men's soccer team has formed a partnership with the West Side International Soccer organization, assisting with practices and serving as mentors to the young boys and girls in the program.
West Side International Soccer is non-profit organization aiming to provide quality, affordable soccer programs, to youths (ages 4-17) of all cultural and socio-economic backgrounds with a focus on serving Buffalo's refugee and low-income populations.
Buffalo State sends two players every Tuesday and Wednesday evening to help facilitate practices and serve as positive role models for the young participants. The Bengals plan to hold clinics in the spring to bring the organization to Coyer Field and design a program that focuses on academic success as well as improving soccer skills.
