D2 Women’s Player of the Week: Elle Smith, Indiana (Pa.)
A hat trick from the junior attacker ensured the Crimson Hawks began conference play with a 4-0 victory.
D2 Women’s Team of the Week: Simon Fraser
The only NCAA team in Canada had a successful California road trip, defeating Chico State 1-0 and San Francisco State 5-0 for a perfect week.
D3 Women’s Player of the Week: Darilyn Nieto, Salem
Nieto is running away with the NCAA DIII lead in goals, and this week was a major factor with the North Carolina native bagging hat tricks in narrow defeats of Hollins and Berea.
D3 Women’s Team of the Week: Trine
The Thunder gave the defending national champions their only blemish of the season in a 1-1 draw, followed by handling Millikin 3-1.
NAIA Women’s Player of the Week: Jayla Boyd, Pikeville
Boyd put on a clinic this week, scoring to equalize against Columbia College before recording a hat trick to secure victory over Bluefield.
NAIA Women’s Team of the Week: Oklahoma Wesleyan
The Eagles soared on the road for a 1-1 draw with No. 3 John Brown, then thrilled their fans at home with a resounding 8-0 rout of Evangel.
