Women's Soccer Announces Spring Schedule
Staten Island, NY – The Wagner women's soccer team announced its 2017 spring exhibition schedule. The Seahawks will compete against teams from five difference conferences in preparation for their fall season.
Wagner opens up spring games on the road in West Long Branch, NJ on March 26 as they will take on the Monmouth University Hawks and the Temple Owls. From there, the Green & White will head to West Point, NY to take on the Army West Point Black Knights on April 9.
The Seahawks will host a pair of home matches. The first coming on April 21st under the lights as the Manhattan College Jaspers pay a visit to Hameline Field. The next day, April 22nd, the Seahawks battle the Toronto Blizzard Soccer Club.
The spring season concludes at the end of April with a pair of road contests beginning on April 23 as the Green & White battle Atlantic Sun members, the NJIT Highlanders and conclude the six-match slate in Hempstead, NY against the Hofstra University Pride.
The Seahawks are under the direction of first-year Phil Casella, who arrived on Grymes Hill after four seasons as the goalkeeper's coach at Mississippi State.
