The Player of the Week only needed one game to do it, as Seven Castain led a TCU offense that ran riot in a statement conference victory.

Traveling to No. 23 Colorado for a top-of-the-table Big 12 clash, many assumed TCU would be the latest victim to a Buffalo team that had not lost in ten games. Castain had other plans, with a jaw-dropping performance of four goals and an assist to lead the Horned Frogs to a statement 6-1 win that put the rest of the country on notice.

Player of the Week: Seven Castain, TCU
Women’s Team of the Week: September 30-October 6
GK: Claireese Foley, Miami (FL) - Foley was unbeatable for Miami this week, making ten saves amid two clean sheets as the team drew Virginia Tech 0-0 and defeated Florida Atlantic 1-0.
D: Mia Oliaro, Duke - Oliaro shined as a two-way wing back, scoring one and assisting two as the team earned identical 3-1 victories versus Louisville and No. 10 Virginia.
D: Zoe Markesini, Princeton - The Tigers were unstoppable this week, and Markesini played a role with an assist in each of the two clean sheet wins, first versus Lafayette, then against Brown in an 8-0 win that shocked the college soccer world.
D: Nele Karowski, FGCU - Kariwski found her creative groove with a goal and three assists as the Eagles scored 13 and conceded none in wins over Queens (N.C.) and West Georgia.
M: Emily Morris, Wake Forest - Playing multiple midfield roles versus Florida State, Morris shined in all facets as her goal helped Wake Forest hand No. 4 Florida State its first loss since 2022.
M: Ally Perry, Mississippi State - An inswinging corner directly into the back of the net from Perry was all Mississippi State needed to hand No. 1 Arkansas its first loss of the season.
M: Mia Casey, Colorado State - The talented sophomore scored twice and assisted three as the Rams earned crucial conference victories versus San Jose State and Fresno State.
M: Isabella Recinos, Massachusetts - The senior midfielder stepped up when the team needed her with two goals to defeat George Washington 4-2, then another in a 2-2 draw with Saint Joseph’s.
F: Seven Castain, TCU - Castain scored four and added an assist as TCU shocked No. 23 Colorado 6-1.
F: Tori Waldeck, Pepperdine - Days after scoring to help the team defeat Washington State 3-2, Waldeck took matters into her own hands with a hat trick in a narrow 4-3 conference victory over Gonzaga.
F: Emily Gaebe, Saint Louis - Continuing her record-breaking season, Gaebe scored in a 1-1 draw with Saint Joseph’s, then recorded a hat trick to defeat Duquesne 5-0.
