Women's Team of the Week: September 12
After scoring a hat-trick to lead unranked Utah Valley to their historic 3-2 upset of No. 16 USC, Faith Webber is the player of the week. Needing a revival after two blowout losses to in-state rivals, going to a top-20 team in the country was a perfect opportunity. Up stepped Webber, a former JUCO All-American and National Champion, with a spectacular performance that caught USC off-guard as Utah Valley stormed to a 3-0 lead 60 minutes in. USC would attempt a late comeback, but ultimately, Utah Valley left California with their third-ever win against a top-25 program.
