Zach Ryan returns to the Red Bulls
Zach Ryan has returned to the Red Bulls.
The Stanford striker is the latest college player to join an MLS franchise this offseason, as he signed a Homegrown deal with the New York Red Bulls this week.
“Zach has been playing at a top level at Stanford,” Red Bulls Head Coach Gerhard Struber said in a press release. “His ability to score at the academy and collegiate level has been impressive. We hope to see him build upon those successes in preseason and gain good experience with us and Red Bulls II.”

Ryan posted two double-digit seasons with the Cardinal, scoring 10 apiece in 2018 and 2020-21. He finishes career at the Pac-12 program with 31 goals and 13 assists in 73 games.
