NOTES: Ben Denton scored in the 92nd minute bringing a close to the most stunning Idaho 5A playoffs in history as Eagle (12-7-2) defeated Skyview (10-7-2) 2-1 in double overtime. Eagle had not made the playoffs in eight years and had six straight losing seasons before this year’s surprise title. Most of the playoff favorites were eliminated in the play-in or first round. Skyview struck first, but Eagle’s Truman Hoggan set up overtime with a goal with six minutes remaining.

NOTES: Suad Smajilovic scored the lone goal and the Roosevelt (12-1-2) defense posted its sixth straight shutout to give the program its first-ever Class AA state title. The result thwarted a chance for a repeat for Washington (13-1-2).
