ARIZONA
2A: Phoenix Country Day 2, Blue Ridge 1 (PK): Keeper Ty Rodin delivered a pair of saves in the shootout as Phoenix Country Day edged Blue Ridge 4-3 on kicks following a 1-1 match. Tanner Boro gave Blue Ridge an early lead before Ryan Horlick tied the match in the 65th minute.
CALIFORNIA
North Coast Div. 1: Gateway 2, Roseland University Prep 1 (OT): Robin Shapiro's goal in overtime lifted Gateway, the No. 7 seed, to a section title over Roseland University Prep, which was looking for a first-ever section title in any sport. Brian Cruz gave Roseland University Prep a 1-0 lead that stood until under 10 minutes left in the match. Patrice Boulliame tied the match for Gateway, which ended 16-8-2 and head a win over Div. 2 champ Head-Royce. Roseland University Prep had its 18-match win streak ended in the final and finished 18-3.
North Coast Div. 2: [Head-Royce ca-m] 2, Making Waves Academy 1: Will Jackson had a goal and one assist as Head-Royce closed out the season with a section title and an 18-match win streak. William Knight also scored for Head-Royce (18-1), whose only loss was a season-opening setback to eventual Div. 1 champion Gateway.
North Coast Div. 3: Roseland Collegiate Prep 1, Anderson Valley 0 (PK): Roseland Collegiate Prep claimed an emotional 3-2 shootout win for the school's first-ever NCS crown in any sport. The victory came shortly after the Tubbs fire that burned part of the school's campus. Oscar Aguirre netted what proved to be the winning PK. His conversion made it 3-2 and Anderson Valley's final attempt went over the crossbar.
Northern Section: Quincy 2, Tulelake 0: Federico Andriola and Miles Rubalcava-Cunan scored the goals to lift Quincy (20-1) to a section title.
COLORADO
5A: Broomfield 1, Denver East 0: Michael Mooney scored in the first half and keeper Jose Ogaz delivered a standout performance as Broomfield edged Denver East in a battle of state powers. The win marked a record seventh state title for Broomfield, which has now won three of the past four. Broomfield finished 17-2-1. Denver East ended the season at 18-2.
4A: Air Academy 1, Centaurus 0 (OT): Ryan Self's overtime goal lifted Air Academy to a second state title and second perfect record in the past four seasons. Air Academy (20-0) dodged a late-minute scare as a penalty kick by Centaurus sailed high of the goal. Kepper Thomas Beatty recorded the shutout for Air Academy. Centaurus finished at 16-2-1.
3A: Liberty Common 1, Colorado Academy 0: Ryan Zonnefeld scored the lone goal in the final and the only goal Colorado Academy allowed in the playoffs to lift Liberty Common to its first-ever state title.
CONNECTICUT
LL: Glastonbury 1, Naugatuck 0: Sebby Sanzaro scored midway through the second half to lead Glastonbury to its fourth title in five seasons, three during Sanzaro's tenure with the team. Sanzaro had been a standout throughout the playoffs, scoring in all of Glastonbury's postseason matches. The title was the 10th for Glastonbury, seventh under coach Mark Landers. Glastonbury finished 17-2-1 while Naugatuck ended at 19-2-2.
L: Daniel Hand 2, Masuk 1: Scott Tesori scored the game-winning goal as Daniel Hand repeated as state champions. Hand struck first on a goal by Nichols Porte three minutes into the match. Masuk responded two minutes later on a direct kick goal from Ryan Winkler. Tesori's winner came in the 13th minute and earned him tournament MVP honors.
M: Lewis Mills 3, Suffield 2: Dylan McCall scored early and late as Lewis Mills capped an undefeated season with a 3-2 state final win over Suffield. McCall scored three minutes into the match, and delivered the game winner with 10 seconds remaining in regulation. Mike McFarlane converted a penalty kick and Dylan Carzello scored for Suffield (16-4), which held a 2-1 lead until midway through the second half. John Mudgett, the game MVP, scored the equalizer for Lewis Mills (19-0-1), setting up McCall's dramatic finish.
S: Morgan 4, Somers 0: Juan Avila scored a pair of goals, which were bookended by scores from Tyler Newfield and Zach Tuccitto as Morgan claimed its first state title since 1964. Avila was named tournament MVP.
DELAWARE
Div. I: Salesianum 2, Appoquinimink 1: Bryce Wallace scored both goals as Salesianum edged Appoquinimink for the program's eighth straight state title. Wallace gave Salesianum a 1-0 lead in the second half before Appo's Anthony Dina tied that match at 1 for a 30-yard free kick. Wallace scored the winner only two minutes later, assisted by Ethan Lupichuk. Salesianum keeper Emmett McCloskey finished with nine saves. Salesianum finished 17-1. Appo ended at 15-3.
Div. II: [Caravel Academy de-m] 2, Indian River 0: Austyn Hamilton and Ben Schwartz scored the goals as Caravel Academy defeated Indian River. Junior goalkeeper Eric Fasteson recorded the shutout.

WCAC: Gonzaga 2, DeMatha Catholic (Md.) 1 (OT): Ryan Teuschl followed up a saved penalty kick to tap in the game winner, leading Gonzaga to its 10th WCAC crown in the last 19 seasons. DeMatha won the other nine. In a season with a lot more balance and teams started to push these perennial frontrunners, the title against came down to Gonzaga and DeMatha. Ryan Elie gave Gonzaga (14-6-3) a 1-0 lead. After Gonzaga's keeper received a red card, DeMatha capitalized on a goal by Scott Little. The WCAC features private schools from D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
IDAHO
5A: Borah 3, Post Falls 2: Borah gave up two goals in the first 18 minutes, but rallied for a victory, which was commonplace for this team during its late-season surge. Junior midfielder Ahmed Ibrahimovic scored the game-winning goal in the 70th minute. He also had the game-tying goal and scored the game-winner in the state semifinals. Borah ended 15-4-1 while Post Falls finished 12-4.
4A: Wood River 2, Caldwell 1: Junior Jovany Armenta and freshman Audari Tamayo scored in the final 10 minutes of the match as Wood River rallied for a victory. The win marked Wood River's first state title since 2003. The team finished 17-2-1, while Caldwell ended 14-5-3.
3A: Weiser 2, Bliss 1: Cristian Sanchez scored both goals and keeper Dylan Miranda turned away a penalty kick as Weiser rallied for a state title victory, the program's second straight state championship. Weiser finished the season 12-5-2.
ILLINOIS
3A: Naperville North 1, Libertyville 0: Jack Barry's school record 22nd assist set up Colin Iverson for the match-winning goal as Naperville North repeated as state champion with a 1-0 win over Libertyville. The goal was the 15th for Iverson, which tied him for the team lead with Ian Guppy. Six-foot-seven keeper Tommy Welch, a junior, was named the MVP of the final by Chicagolandsoccer.com, following a 13-save effort. Naperville North becomes the first repeat large school state champion in Illinois since the Sandburg dynasty of 2001 and 2002. Naperville North ended 27-1-1, while Libertyville finished 20-1-2.
2A: Solorio 6, Gibault Catholic 0: Alejandro Sanchez Jr. scored the first two goals and Ricardo Silva-Torres netted the last two as Solorio Academy rolled to a victory over Gibault Catholic. Jose Solis had a goal and one assist and David Diaz added a goal for Solorio, which ended 19-6-4. Gibault Catholic finished 18-7-3.
1A: Marquette 4, Monmouth-Roseville 3 (2OT): Kwame Ngwa scored the game-winning goal in the 99th minute as Marquette edged Monmouth-Roseville in double overtime. The score was tied at 2 at the end of regulation. Marquette went ahead 3-2 in the first overtime when Noah Fahnestock converted a penalty kick. Three minutes later Robert Lian answered for Monmouth. In regulation, Grego Massengo and Kyaw Thang scored for Monmouth and Aaron Boulch and Chris Hartrich scored for Marquette, which ended the year 17-6-3.
INDIANA
3A: Harrison 3, Castle 2: Jakub Hall's 41st goal of the season put Harrison ahead 2-1 en route to the program's first state title. The team is coached by former Harrison standout Bryan Clouse. Castle scored first on a goal by Rolando Macias. Max Miller tied the game for Harrison, and Hall gave the team the lead for good. Jesus Hernandez scored to make it a 3-1 contest before Castle's Michael Lonnberg scored in the final five minutes for the final margin. Harrison ended the season 20-1-2. Castle finished at 17-5-1.
2A: Evansville Memorial 2, [Concordia Lutheran in-m] 0: Andrew Cross scored both goals as Evansville Memorial repeated as state champion. The last two years Cross has scored twice in the state final. Evansville Memorial finished 20-2-1 and undefeated against Indiana opponents. Concordia Lutheran ended 17-3-4.
1A: Fort Wayne Canterbury 2, [Covenant Christian in-m] 1: Michael Clark scored on a rebound in the 76th minute to lift Canterbury to a sixth state title under longtime coach Greg Mauch. Jonathan Bowen gave Covenant Christian (13-6-3) a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute. Braden Havics responded just before halftime for Canterbury (16-5-1). This was time these programs had returned to the championship match since they faced each other in the 2012 Class A final.
KANSAS
6A: Blue Valley West 3, Olathe South 1: Noah Mabry scored all three goals as Blue Valley West defeated Olathe South, part of an EKL sweep of state titles. Brendan Schwartz assisted on two of Mabry's scores. Blue Valley West finished 15-5-1. Olathe South ended 17-3-1.
5A: [Blue Valley Sotuhwest ks-m] 1, Bishop Carroll 0: Junior standout Aidan Bates scored the lone goal as Blue Valley Southwest capped an undefeated season with a state title. BV Southwest ended 19-0-1. Bishop Carroll finished 18-2-1.
4A-1A: Bishop Miege 3, Andover Central 0: Junior Ethan Martinez scored twice and sophomore Garrett Hagen finished the scoring as Bishop Miege captured its fourth state title in the past six years. Bishop Miege finished 18-1-1.
KENTUCKY
ALL: St. Xavier 3, Daviess County 0: Case Cox and Conner George each had a goal and one assist as St. Xavier claimed a 13th state title with a win over defending state champion Daviess County. Robert Goodin scored the other goal for St. Xavier, which finished 23-3-2. Daviess County ended 21-4-2.
MAINE
A: Lewiston 1, [Portland me-m] 0 (OT): Warsame Ali headed in the game winner on a service from Noralddin Othman as Lewiston claimed its second state title in three seasons. Lewiston finished the season 14-2-2. Portland ended 13-4-1.
B: Yarmouth 2, Winslow 1: Jack Jones scored the game winner on an assist from Eric LaBrie as Yarmouth capped a perfect season with the program's fourth straight state title. LaBrie gave Yarmouth (18-0) a 1-0 lead in the first half. Winslow tied the match three minutes later on a free kick by Michael Wildes. The victory marked Yarmouth's 12th state title, the most in Maine history.
C: Maranacook 1, Fort Kent 0: Silas Mohlar scored with 20.7 seconds remaining to lift Maranacook to a state title.
D: Bangor Christian 1, Richmond 0: Tyler Lehman's early goal stood up as Bangor Christian (16-2) claimed its seventh state title in nine seasons.
MARYLAND
4A: Bethesda-Chevy Chase 1, Severna Park 0: Liam Brocker scored with 86 seconds left to lift Bethesda-Chevy Chase to a state title win over previously undefeated Severna Park. Bethesda-Chevy Chase (13-3-3) posted six straight playoff shutouts, a run of 480 minutes, to capture its first state title in 10 years. Bethesda-Chevy Chase extended Montcomery County's 4A dominance as MoCo teams have won seven of the past 11 4A titles. Severna Park finished 18-1-1.
3A: [C.M Wright md-m] 3, [Great Mills md-m] 2 (PK): St. John's commit Ryan Miller delivered a crucial save in the shootout to help C.M. Wright capture a first-ever boys soccer state title with a victory over Great Mills following a 2-2 match. Jake Spurlock converted the winning PK for the Mustangs, which had made three previous state final appearances. Brett Lindsey and Jayson Butler scored C.M. Wright's regulation goals as the game was 2-2 at halftime. C.M. Wright finished 15-2-2 and both losses were one-goal setbacks to FAB 50 Top 15 teams.
2A: [Eastern Tech md-m] 2, River Hill 0: Mitchel Shanklin scored the first goal and Eastern Tech received an own goal as Eastern Tech captured a first-ever state title. Eastern Tech ended 19-1, winning its last 18 matches. River Hill ended 15-2-2 and suffered its first state finals defeat since 1996. River Hill had won its nine previous state final appearances.
1A: Sparrows Point 2, [Patterson Mill md-m] 1: Dylan Brown scored both goals as Sparrows Point capped the season with a state title. The Pointers entered the playoffs with a losing record but won six straight postseason matches to finish 11-8-1.
MIAA A: McDonogh School 2, Mount St. Joseph 0: Brian Lenzer and Andrew Privett scored second-half goals to lift McDonogh to its ninth MIAA A Conference title since 1996. The Eagles finished the season 19-2. Mount St. Joseph ended 15-6-1. Brandon Quaranta was two titles to his credit during a four-year run as McDonogh's head coach.
MIAA B: Friends School 4, Concordia Prep 1: Paul Benzer, Ned Forbrush and Mike Klausner scored goals before Friends School received an own goal to open a 4-0 lead en route to an MIAA B title. Friends School finished 17-1-1. Concordia Prep, who received a late goal from Taylor Calheira, ended 15-6-1.
MIAA C: Mount Carmel 1, Glenelg Country Day 0 (OT): Jaime Reyes scored in overtime to lift Mount Carmel to the MIAA C title. Mount Carmel ended 16-2. Glenelg Country Day finished 13-3.
WCAC: Gonzaga (D.C.) 2, DeMatha Catholic 1 (OT): Ryan Teuschl followed up a saved penalty kick to tap in the game winner, leading Gonzaga to its 10th WCAC crown in the last 19 seasons. AA: Hellgate 4, Kalispell Glacier 2 (OT): After falling behind 2-1 in the first overtime session, Hellgate scored twice in a two-minute span and then added an insurance goal in the second OT period to claim a third straight state title. Matt Baldrige scored Hellgate's regulation goal and then netted the goal that gave Hellgate the lead for good at 3-2. Hellgate's Will Dauenauer scored the goal to tie the game at 2 and Rylan Compton netted the insurance goal as Hellgate wrapped up a 15-1-1 season.
A: Belgrade 4, Whitefish 0: Jordan Schlauch scored twice and Jared Rockwell and Josiah Russell had goals as Belgrade did all of its scoring in the second half en route to a second straight state title. Belgrade ended the year 14-0. Whitefish finished 10-4-1.

NEW ENGLAND
Prep Class A: Loomis Chaffee (Conn.) 1, Berkshire School (Mass.) 0 (OT): Junior Michael Suski scored early in overtime as No. 2 seeded Loomis Chaffee stunned top-seeded and undefeated Berkshire School in the Prep A final. Loomis Chaffee ended the season at 17-3, while Berkshire finished 19-1-1.
Prep Class B: Brooks School (Mass.) 3, South Kent School (Conn.) 2: Justin Verissimo, Andrew Stevens and Jacob Iwowo scored second-half goals to rally Brooks to a 3-2 victory over top-seeded South Kent School for the Prep B title. The result sent retiring coach Dusty Richard out as a champion. Richard is stepping down after 40 years of coaching Brooks. Alex Adjetey and Joshua Bolma scored as South Kent build a 2-0 lead before the team surrendered three goals in the final 25 minutes. Brooks finished the season 15-0-5. South Kent ended 21-2.
Prep Class C: Hebron Academy (Maine) 8, Millbrook School (N.Y.) 1: Michael Tahiru scored five goals as Hebron Academy cruised to a second straight Prep C title. Hebron Academy is undefeated in 36 straight matches. The victory gave coach Kurt Swanbeck a 91-29-11 record in eight years at the shool. Hebron Academy finished the season 15-0-3.
Prep Class D: Hyde School (Maine) 1, Lexington Christian Academy (Mass.) 0: Jed Danforth scored the lone goal as Hyde School claimed its third Prep D title in six years.

6A: Albuquerque 3, La Cueva 2: Carlos Gutierrez converted a penalty kick in the 77th minute to lift Albuquerque to its second state title in three seasons in a meeting of the state's top two teams. Albuquerque finished 19-1-1, avenging its only defeat, while La Cueva ended 16-1-4. Gutierrez gave Albuquerque a 1-0 lead, assisted by Luca Seazzu. Guiterrez later served up Rado Josoa's goal that gave the team a 2-1 advantage. Marco Monetti scored for La Cueva, assisted by Chris Manning, and Manning later converted a penalty kick on a re-take to tie the score at 2. Only three minutes later, Seazzu was fouled in the box setting up Gutierrez's winner.
5A: Alamogordo 2, Albuquerque Academy 1: Adam Foltz scored twice in the second half to rally Alamogordo to a victory over top-seeded Albuquerque Academy. Foltz finished the season with 37 goals. Aaron Hill scored to give shorthanded Albuquerque Academy the lead early in the second half before Alamogordo rallied. Albuquerque Academy lost a player to a red card seven minutes into the match. Alamogordo ended the season 18-3-2. Albuquerque Academy finished 15-5-3.
1A-4A: Hope Christian 3, Sandia Prep 2: Hope Christian watched a 2-0 lead disappear but eventually got the game winner from Kevin Sanchez three minutes into overtime for the program's first title in 10 years. Hope Christian finished 21-2. Sandia Prep ended 12-8-3. Sam Rallis and Sanchez staked Hope Christian to a 2-0 lead, both on assists from Edward Oropesa, before Sandia Prep's Cole Hanrahan scored in the 73rd minute and then converted a penalty kick in the 80th to send the match to overtime.

NCISAA 3A: Wesleyan Christian 3, Cannon School 0: Phillip Cimpean, Evan Allred and Malik Ibrahim scored the goals as Wesleyan Christian capped an undefeated season with a win over surprise finalist Cannon School. Weselyan Christian ended 22-0-3. Cannon School finished 9-8-4.
NCISAA 2A: Fayetteville Academy 3, Coastal Christian 1: Marcos da Paz, Hudson Zeisman and Julian Barbaro scored the goals as Fayetteville Academy ended a four-year state title drought. Fayetteville Academy ended 18-1-1. Coastal Christian finished 16-8-1 with three of the losses at the hands of Fayetteville Academy.
NCISAA 1A: Statesville Christian School 1, Hickory Christian Academy 0: Statesville Christian ended Hickory Christian's undefeated season and earned the program's first boys soccer state title. Stateville Christian finished 16-4 while Hickory Christian ended 18-1-1.
NORTH DAKOTA
All: Bismarck 2, Fargo Davies 1: Mason Stotz and Dane Allen scored first-half goals as Bismarck defeated Davies for the team's second state title in three seasons and fourth overall. Bismarck ended the season at 15-2-1, while Fargo Davies finished 14-4-1.

AA: Sioux Falls Lincoln 3, Aberdeen Central 1 (OT): Isaac Woods scored the first and last goals of the night as Lincoln stunned defending champ Aberdeen Central in overtime, ending Aberdeen Central's win streak at 29 matches. Woods gave Lincoln a lead before Jesse Margolies tied the match for Aberdeen Central with 3:21 left in regulation. Ernato Dabi scored in overtime to give Lincoln a 2-1 lead and Woods added one more for the final margin. Lincoln finishes 12-1-2. Aberdeen Central ends the season at 14-1.
A: Tea Area 5, St. Thomas More 0: Noah Freidel scored three goals and assisted on another as Tea Area (10-1-1) rolled to a state title win. Tea Area was the state runner-up last year.
VERMONT
VIRGINIA
VACA: Southwest Virginia Home School 1, Fresta Valley 0: Oshie Morrisette scored in the 65th minute to lead Southwest Virginia Home School to a second straight Virginia Association of Christian Athletics state title. Goalkeeper Danny Sanders was named tournament MVP. SWVA's team featured Tyler Johnson, who scored 100 career goals.
WASHINGTON
2B/1B: Crosspoint 2, St. George's 0: Juniors Harrison McArdle and Grant Baker scored the goals as Crosspoint won its first ever boys soccer state title. Crosspoint ended the season at 19-1, while St. George's finished 14-2-2.
WEST VIRGINIA
