Alexus Knox’s commitment came for a fairly straightforward reason: the coaching staff at her future college home.
“I decided to commit to Mississippi State because coaches Aaron [Gordon], Ashley [Gordon] and Phil [Casella] genuinely seem to appreciate what I have to offer as a player,” Knox told TopDrawerSoccer.com. “Their level of excitement to have me as a player was apparent from day one. I felt extremely comfortable the moment I stepped on campus and the players embraced me during my visit. It felt like I would be a part of a family, not just a player on a soccer team.”
