For Katie Meyer, the pull of Stanford went well beyond the soccer field. The opportunity to improve away from the game was one of the primary triggers for her final decision.
“I decided to commit to Stanford because after some time considering all of my options, I knew in my heart that Stanford was truly where I wanted to develop for four years of my life not only as a player, but as a student, and person,” Meyer told TopDrawerSoccer. “Everyone at Stanford wants to be the absolute best at everything they do, and that is the type of environment I want a chance to thrive in.”
