Kylie Sprecher, Midfielder, SC Waukesha
Class: 2017
Commitment: Marquette
Playing college soccer has been Kylie Sprecher’s goal since she was eight years old, when she first fell in love with the game.
That dream is slated to come true after her recent verbal commitment to join Marquette in the fall of 2017.
“I picked MU because of the connection I felt with the coaching staff and with the school,” Sprecher told TopDrawerSoccer.com. “I had a lot of fun on my visit and really enjoyed the family atmosphere that MU has as a school and especially as a soccer team.”
Family influence played a role in Sprecher’s love for the game, as her mother played college soccer under head coach Greg Ryan at Wisconsin. She’s eager to improve and develop as a player at the Division I level.
“MU is a very competitive and successful program and it will challenge me to always play to the best of my ability,” Sprecher said. “I am excited to keep working hard and have the opportunity to hopefully contribute to the program’s ongoing success when I get there in 2017.”
Sprecher is the first verbal commitment to Marquette’s 2017 recruiting class.
