A top 100 recruit from the 2017 IMG Academy Top 150 capable of playing every position on the field (except goalkeeper), Sofia Weiner will head east for school after committing to an ACC power.
“The University of Virginia was my final choice because of UVA’s commitment to excellence in the classroom as well as on the soccer pitch,” she told TopDrawerSoccer. “I feel that UVA will allow me to grow and learn as a soccer player in one of this country’s premier women’s college soccer programs while furthering my academics pursuits."
