Forwards
Ifunanyachi Achara, Berkshire School (Sheffield, Mass.), Sr.
Achara is one of the nation's most dynamic high school performers. In 36 career matches, he accounted for 90 points. He scoed 26 goals with 13 assists this past season. The former Nigerian Under-17 National Team member helped his club team to a US Youth Soccer national title in 2015. He has signed with Georgetown.
Stephen Milhoan, St. Ignatius (Cleveland, Ohio), Jr.
The lone junior on the TeamSnap Fall All-America first team, Milhoan was named Mr. Soccer in Ohio after leading St. Ignatius to a state title and an undefeated season. Milhoan scored nine playoff goals, pushing his season total to 30 wih 19 assists. Milhoan has committed to Xavier.
Tre Pulliam, Archbishop Curley (Baltimore, Md.), Sr.
Pulliam was the Baltimore Sun Player of the Year after scoring 29 goals and assisting on 11 while leading Archbishop Curley to a conference runner-up finish to McDonogh. The UMBC signee ends his high school career with 74 goals, three short of the school record, which is held by former professional player Giuliano Celenza.
Ty Seager, Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, Ill.), Sr.
Even as a marked man, there was no stopped Seager. The two-time state player of the year had 34 goals and 16 assists, leading Wheaton Academy to a state runner-up finish. The Northwestern signee ends his high school career with 108 goals and 45 assists.
Midfielders
John Antunes, St. Benedict’s Prep (Newark, N.J.), Sr.
Antunes dished out a team-high 19 assists, leading St. Benedict's to an 18-0 season, a 27th straight state title and a second straight SIMA FAB 50 Fall No. 1 ranking. It was St. Benedict's fourth FAB 50 national crown in the past five seasons. The former Youth National Team performer was the New Jersey Prep Player of the Year and he signed with Monmouth.
Luca Levee, Milton Academy (Milton, Mass.), Sr.
Levee dominated play in the midfield, leading Milton Academy to a 22-0 season and a TopDrawerSoccer.com Prep Top 10 No. 2 finish. Levee's 13th goal of the season put the finishing touches on a 2-0 Prep A championship victory. Levee signed with Maryland
Suad Suljic, Minnetonka (Minnetonka, Minn.), Sr.
Suljic was one of the top players at the High School All-American Game in December. The Minnesota Mr. Soccer scored 25 goals and handed out 18 assists in 17 matches. He had six goals and five assists in three playoff contests. Suljic signed with Bradley.
Emmanuel Twumasi, Kent School (Kent, Conn.), Sr.
A four-year starter and two-time all-NEPSAC performer, Twumasi got the chance to showcase his skills at the High School All-America Game, where he was selected as the co-player of the match. The Wake Forest signee had 81 career goals and 34 assists.
Defenders
Michael DeShields, McDonogh School (Owings Mills, Md.), Sr.
DeShields teammed with Cale Thorne to provide one of the nation's top defenses, leading McDonogh to a second undefeated season in three years. DeShields scored the game-winning goal that gave McDonogh a national title in 2013. In 2015, the Wake Forest signee scored nine goals and handed out three assists as the Eagle won the MIAA A Conference title.
Alex Palazzolo, Christian Brothers (St. Louis, Mo.), Sr.
The Indiana signee returned from Development Academy play to anchor the Christian Brothers defense. The team posted 17 shutouts and Palazzolo was named the Missouri Class 4 Player of the Year.
Cale Thorne, McDonogh School (Owings Mills, Md.), Sr.
Thorne, the other half of McDonogh's powerhouse defense, scored five goals and had five assists as the Eagles went 21-0-1. The Clemson signee was McDonogh's team captain and anchored a defense that allowed only 10 goals.
Goalkeeper
Detre Bell, South Kent School (South Kent, Conn.), Sr.
Bell recorded 14 shutouts while guiding South Kent School to a Class B title and a No. 1 ranking in the TopDrawerSoccer.com Prep Top 10. The Connecticut signee is the starting goalkeeper for Bermuda's Under-20 National Team.
Coach of the Year
Mike Gorni, Central Bucks East (Doylestown, Pa.)
One of Pennsylvania's coaching legends went out with a storybook finish. Gorni, who coached high school soccer for 30 years -- the last 21 at Central Bucks East -- announced before the season this would be his final year. The players delivered a 26-0, state title-winning season. Gorni's final match, which was his 383rd career victory, was a 2-0 victory over Seneca Valley for the program's first state title. He retires after leading Central Bucks East to 21 straight district playoff appearances, 10 conference titles and 11 state tournament appearances.
