The TopDrawerSoccer.com Spring All-America teams are compiled by TopDrawerSoccer with consultation with coaches and media members from around the country. Players from all 13 spring-playing soccer states are eligible for consideration.
FIRST TEAM SPRING ALL-AMERICA
FORWARDS
Jansen Eichenlaub, Marian (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.), Jr.
The Virginia commit finished the season with 31 goals and 10 assists. Eichenlaub led Marian to a 22-0-1 record and a Division 2 state title. She is ranked among the top Class of 2019 prospects in the Great Lakes region.
Mary Elliott McCabe, Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, N.C.), Sr.
The North Carolina signee scored 43 goals and had 14 assists to lead Charlotte Latin to a fourth straight state title. McCabe had 117 career goals and 51 assists. In her final match, McCabe scored two goals and assisted the other score as Latin defeated rival Providence Day School in the final.
Rachel Rasins, Powers Catholic (Flint, Mich.), Jr.
The Columbia commit scored both goals to lead Flint Powers Catholic to a 2-1 victory over Williamstown in the Division 3 state final. Rasins is the No. 129 prospect in the Class of 2019 IMG Academy 150. She finished the season with 37 goals.
Hailey Stodden, Broomfield (Colo.), Sr.
The Utah signee is the two-time BoCoPreps.com Player of the Year. Stodden scored 32 goals and served up 10 assists to lead Broomfield to an 18-1-1 season and a state runner-up finish. She is the No. 26 prospect in the Class of 2018 IMG Academy 150. Stodden has trained with the U.S. Under-17, Under-19 and Under-20 National Teams.
MIDFIELDERS
Claire Constant, T.C. Williams (Alexandria, Va.), Sr.
The Virginia signee scored 23 goals and had 13 assists to earn The Washington Post All-Metro Player of the Year honors. The US Youth National Team member has been a three-time All-Metro first-team pick. She led T.C. Williams to an 18-2 season. Constant is the No. 38 prospect in the Class of 2018 IMG Academy 150.
Emily Groark, Incarnate Word Academy (St. Louis, Mo.), Sr.
The Colorado signee had 22 goals and 11 assists to help Incarnate Word Academy to a state runner-up finish. Groark was named to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch first team and Missouri High School Soccer Coaches Association all-state first team. She also was named Missouri Division 3 Co-Offensive Player of the Year.
Julia Leas, James Madison (Fairfax, Va.), Jr.
The Georgetown commit led Madsion to an 18-1-2 season and a state runner-up finish. Despite playing in the midfield, Leas was the team's top goal scorer. She was named to The Washington Post All-Metro first team. She also won the district player of the year honors.
Hailey Rydberg, St. Charles North (St. Charles, Ill.), Sr.
The Iowa signee had 22 goals and 15 assists to lead St. Charles North to a 21-1-1 season. The team lost to Barrington, ending a 22-match undefeated run.
DEFENDERS
Olivia Brown, Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, Iowa), Sr.
The Nebraska signee was one of several outstanding offensive-minded defenders in the high school ranks. Brown scored both goals in the state semfinals and netted the game-winner in the state final to lead Ankeny Centennial to the title. She was named MVP of the state tournament and earned Des Moines Register Player of the Year honors.
Anna Lawler, Rockwood Summit (Fenton, Mo.), Sr.
The Oklahoma State signee was named the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Player of the Year in 2018 for the second time during her high school career. Lawler was the No. 28 prospect in the final Class of 2018 IMG Academy 150. Lawler led Rockwood Summit to a 19-2-3 record and a state title. She added six goals and six assists, but just as noteworthy was the fact she anchored a defense that shut out its last 10 opponents en route to the title.
Sydney Parker, New Trier (Winnetka, Ill.), Sr.
The DePaul signee was a three-time all-state selection by ChicagolandSoccer.com. Parker played a major role in New Trier making three straight state final appearances. Parker anchired a defense that allowed only nine goals in 27 matches. In addition, she went on the attck this year and netted 17 goals.
GOALKEEPER
Samantha Schmitz, Barrington (Ill.), Sr.
The Harvard commit delivered back-to-back, state final shootout wins to help Barrington win the Class 3A state titles in 2017 and 2018. She was named the state final MVP the past two years by ChicagolandSoccer.com. She's a two-time all-state selection, as well.
COACH OF THE YEAR
Jason Pendleton, Blue Valley Southwest (Kan.)
Pendleton built Blue Valley Southwest into a national power -- in both boys and girls soccer before stepping down as head coach after the 2018 season. Pendleton guided the girls program to a 19-0-1 showing in 2018, which included the program's fifth state title since 2011. Meanwhile, he coached the boys to state titles in 2016 and 2017, meaning the school has swept the state titles the past two school years.
